A Slow Awakening

The media is widely acknowledged as a platform for change: usually behavioural change, but also importantly, policy change. In terms of the HIV/AIDS pandemic especially, the media stands as a critical agent inducing the positive behavioural and attitudinal change that can stem the tide of the epidemic. This should be particularly true for Nigeria, which is among the top five most affected countries in the world.
